Help your school increase academic achievement and outcomes for your students.

MPS values family and community members as active partners in reviewing funding, policies, practices and programs at our schools. All MPS schools have site councils to support site-based decision making to increase academic outcomes for our students. Site councils are a way that parents and community members can learn what is happening in their school and influence decisions. It's important for site councils to reflect the student population of the schools to ensure a diversity of ideas and input.

Site Improvement Plan

Field Elementary School will equitably educate, inspire and prepare all students to become lifelong learners and purposeful people who feel successful at school and in their communities.

  Academic Achievement Student Well Being School Climate
MOA American Indian students will make a 5% increase in growth from the 2024-2025 school year. By spring 2025, 100% American Indian students will indicate feeling connected to 3 staff at Field.  
Goal
  • 46% students will meet or exceed growth goals on the aReading assessment in Spring 2026. This is an increase from 41% in 2024-25.
  • 47% students will meet or exceed growth goals on the aMath assessment in spring 2026. This is an increase from 43% in 2024-2025.
  • By spring 2026, the percentage of students of color who are proficient according to the aReading assessment will move from 48% to 53%.
  • By spring 2026, the percentage of students of color who are proficient according to the aMath assessment will move from 46% to 51%.
 By spring 2026, the average of score of students responding with "agree/strongly agree" on the core skill of collaboration will increase from 3.87 to 4.3 as measured by the Wayfinder Waypoints summative self-assessment in the spring. Peer-to-peer relationships on the climate survey will increase from 67% to 72%.
Strategies MTSS - Teachers will engage in data review monthly to determine instructional next steps for Tier 1 and Tier 2. Incorporate one lesson per week around the focused core skill of collaboration. Teachers will use Wayfinder lessons focused on peer-to-peer relationships and collaboration.
